Burns Night Celebration

A Musical Journey Through Scotlands Heart

Arrive from 6pm and begin your evening with the hauntingly beautiful melodies of live bagpipes, filling the castle with the rich and stirring sounds of Scotlands heritage. As the night progresses, enjoy the captivating performance of our pianist, whose blend of contemporary and classic tunes will create a warm and enchanting atmosphere.

The Legacy of Robert Burns

Immerse yourself in the words of Scotlands greatest bard with recitals of his most beloved works, culminating in a duet with the pipe and the piano playing traditional Scottish Tunes.

A Historic Venue with Scottish Heritage Appleby Castle provides the perfect setting for this celebration. Once owned by the Kings of Scotland and England, its historic walls echo the era when Westmorland was part of Scotland. This unique connection makes the castle an extraordinary venue to honour the Bard of Ayrshire.

Guests are warmly invited to come dressed in their finest tartan (not essential) and join us for a night full of music, laughter, and camaraderie.
