You are about to download the app for Appleby Castle. There are three sections to the app:

  • An audio tour of the grounds.
  • An audio tour of the Great Hall delivered from the perspective of Lady Anne Clifford.
  • An audio tour in the Keep integrating British History through the eyes of the Keep. Initially written for children it is enjoyed by all ages.

    • The app has only been developed for android devices at present.

    The IOS version will be available later this summer.

    If you dont wish to use your phone audio devices are available at the ticket office.

    If you need wifi to download the app, walk to outside of the cottages where there is WIFI. The password is "Clifford".
